The Author
Rich Roste was raised on a farm in the west-central Minnesota community of Sacred Heart and later earned All-American honors in junior college football before successfully walking-on at the University of Minnesota. After a career-ending injury, he completed a degree in mortuary science and became a licensed funeral director in 1977.
